I liked the stay here. Wanted to explore Bordeaux and this hotel was best base for doing it. Professional staff suggested restaurants. The airport was 0.5 miles away.

loved this wonderful hotel, easy to find. all the staff was professional and amiable, tackled my issues. location: the property was short walk to the centre of bordeux and the old town and bordeaux. i randomly popped in mi cielo patisserie serving some pastries, located a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel, it was nice.

I was thrilled with the tastefully decorated and nicely furnished room equipped with climate control, multi-channel TV, and a microwave. the design of the room was lovely. the location was charming, and the staff was professional and friendly.

The staff were helpful and gave suggestions. The hotel has been renovated beautifully with codes for entry and a communal area. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was large. The pool was refreshing and the location was convenient for the tram. Thank you for the friendly service!

we had an amazing anniversary stay in bordeaux and Les Penates Bordelaises - Maison D'Hotes - Guesthouse exceeded our expectations! The codes for entry were secure and easy, the communal area was handy, the beds were comfy, and the bathroom was huge. The mirror double as a TV was genius and the pool was refreshing. The location was great too, just a few mins walk to the tram!

The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We also enjoyed the locally sourced and delicious breakfast. Another advantage was the beautiful and well-maintained pool on the property.

That the accommodation was attached to the hosts' house, which was not mentioned beforehand. Additionally, there was a day during our stay when the hosts had several family members and friends over, which meant limited access to the pool and loungers for other guests.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming guesthouse in Bordeaux. the location was perfect, just a short tram ride away from the city center, and within walking distance to a supermarket and great restaurants. the room was comfortable with a good bed and shower, and the hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating, providing us with great recommendations for sightseeing. the communal area was a lovely bonus, with a fridge, coffee machine, and a refreshing pool with comfortable sun loungers. We also enjoyed the delicious locally sourced breakfast.

The only slight drawback was that on one day, there were not enough loungers by the pool due to some friends of the hosts using them.

The self-catered units are like a cozy home away from home with their equipped kitchenette and hardwood floors. The suite had a lovely electric kettle, a flat-screen TV, and a tea/coffee maker, making it feel like my own personal haven. I adored the air conditioning and the garden view that can be enjoyed while sipping a hot cup of tea. The satellite TV in the suite was a nice touch and added to the overall comfort.

Personally, I found the presence of a fridge in the kitchenette less appealing, but I understand that many guests may still find it convenient.

I recently stayed at Les Penates Bordelaises for a weekend getaway. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful and provided us with great recommendations for local activities and dining options. The recently renovated rooms were beautifully decorated and easily accessible. The hotel's location, right across from a large public park and charming restaurants, was perfect. The common areas, including the kitchen, work area, and backyard pool, were tastefully decorated and well laid out. The highlight was definitely the amazing hammock tucked away under a tree in the backyard.

I highly recommend this hotel.
